SHAUN CATON IS A VETERAN PERFORMER WHO MAKES PSYCHOLOGICALLY UNNERVING PERFORMANCES THAT EXPLORE PARADOXICAL SCENARIOS IN A PARALLEL WORLD.
In rainschemes for insomniacs, Caton works with organic river fetishes, and items loaned from Ipswich Museum collections. He evokes dark, supernatural, fractured histories through an experimental approach to shadow play.

Caton presents the creation of living paintings, with strong references to primitive, outsider, and prehistoric art, culminating in a visually stunning work of great brooding intensity.

Shaun is also displaying an Exhibition in the Ipswich Art School Gallery.

Shaun Caton performance artist/painter, has presented over 380 performances worldwide since 1984. His work has been featured in many festivals of live art, art galleries, museums, in outdoor settings and unconventional spaces.
