Conversations across History: On Collecting and Presenting
How do the juxtapositions of objects created at different moments in history alter the meaning or our reading of those objects? What does it mean to remove an object from the context in which it was intended to be displayed, to display it in another? What permissions do we give ourselves to do such things, and what are the ethics involved in doing so?
